TELEPHONE RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES
We are starting a new recovery support service for
people who do not live near a recovery facility and want to have support services
delivered to them by telephone. We will call the client one time a week for 15 minutes
at a time that is convenient for both. The initial agreement is for 13 weeks, and
may be extended upon request for up to two years.
What are "Recovery Support Services?"
Recovery support services are non-clinical services that assist in removing barriers
and providing resources to those contemplating, initiating, and maintaining recovery.
Recovery Support Services prevent relapse and promote long term
recovery. It involves Recovery Action Planning.
The purpose of Recovery Action Planning is to develop and incorporate wellness tools
into a personal management and recovery system. Recovery Action Planning is designed
to:
• Decrease and prevent relapse
• Increase personal empowerment
•
Improve quality of life
• Assist people in achieving their goals and dreams
• Increase your faith
