MEET RANDY
WOOD Randy Wood accepted the Lord in March, 1972, while in a prison cell in The Ohio State Reformatory (the same place used to film the movie The Shawshank Redemption). He had been sentenced to a 10-25 year sentence for Armed Robbery, which he had turned to to support a heroin addiction. While in prison, he met Nancy, who he married on July 12, 1976, the day he was released. Randy and another inmate, Cullen, founded Cons for Christ Evangelical Association while incarcerated, which was instrumental in training hundreds of inmates in Christian growth and discipleship. Randy served the institutional Cons for Christ church of about 230 members as Pastor and Chief Elder. In 1983, Randy returned to prison ministry, joining the Master’s Hand in Strongsville, Ohio. He was also Outreach Pastor at Euclid (Ohio) Foursquare Church. In 1996, he left Ohio and joined Calvary International Ministries, Inc. as Administrator, and Board Chairman. He also was Director of it’s first halfway house from 1999-2007. In 2002, Randy was named President of Calvary International Ministries. He formed The ARC in 2007 when Calvary International Ministries, Inc. decided to dissolve.
