LINKS PAGE
Below you will find some links to sites of friends, recovery
associates, helpful information, and other stuff I thought you might enjoy.
Please be aware that the web is not static, and that sites come and go, and
have been (on occasion), stolen and used for other purposes. Because of this,
we cannot guarantee that a link will be as described, or will be inoffensive.
This is the sad state of the World-Wide Web, and we have no control over it.
We just do our best to use the web as a tool for God's glory.

A site with some beautiful
original songs from Margie Reece. She writes (on her site) "After
rededicating my life to the Lord in 1979, I, too, began writing Gospel songs
in response to the love and inspiration I received from Him. The reason I
chose to call them Touch Jesus Songs is because they have been such a great
encouragement to me and have helped me to touch Jesus. In 2004, I felt
compelled to answer "The Master's Call" and share them here on a
web site especially dedicated to Jesus and, also, in remembrance of the Reece
Sisters for the more than six years we sang together as young girls."
The song, "Praise Song to Jesus" on the home page
of my site is one Margie's songs, and I thank her for allowing me to share it
with you.

Dunklin Memorial Church was
founded by Mickey and Laura Maye Evans in 1962
in a wilderness area of Martin County (Florida) for the purpose
of
building a “city of refuge” for the spiritual, emotional,
and physical
regeneration of alcoholics and drug addicts.

Matthew 25 Ministries is a
multi-faceted prison ministry.
It conducts chapel services and participates in
evangelistic outreaches in several prisons.
It also conducts teachings and support groups for those in
recovery
from chemical and sexual addictions in a number of jails
and prisons.
The main focus of our ministry is assisting men and women
transition from prison back into their communities. This is
accomplished through our
transition houses and by networking with other prison
aftercare ministries.

Evangelism Resources - Ray
Comfort - LivingWaters.com - This website is an evangelism training center
that teaches Christians to "share their faith" (evangelism)
effectively, biblically--the way Jesus did.

Living Free, A Guide to Forming and Conducting A Recovery Ministry,
by Ron and Valerie Halvorson,
is a fantastic resource for any church planning to start a recovery ministry.

It's so easy to write people off as "no account" when they've made
mistakes in life.
Our objective is to provide the clients with appropriate referrals, and for
those accepted into the residence, a clean and safe environment where they
can rebuild their lives.
(Located in Fort Myers, Florida.)

The purpose of Saddleback Church's Celebrate Recovery ministry is to
fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the
"8 Recovery Principles." This experience allows us to "be
changed."
By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow
spiritually.
We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors.
This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly,
a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
As we progress through the program we discover our personal,
loving and forgiving Higher Power -
Jesus Christ, the one and only true Higher Power.

The 12Step.org web site strives to gather resources that make it easier to
work a 12 step program. There is no official affiliation with A.A. or any
other 12 Step group. Please note: this is NOT a Christian link,
but does have good SECULAR 12
Step information, including an online step study.

Dick B.'s body of work on the history and successes of early Alcoholics
Anonymous includes seminars, books, articles, radio interviews, videos, audio
cassettes tapes, audio blog talks, and newspaper articles. They show how the
basic, and highly successful, biblical ideas used by early AAs can be
valuable tools for success in today's A.A. Also, the religious and recovery
communities are using his research and titles to work more effectively with
alcoholics, addicts, and others involved in Twelve Step programs.

The mission of The Missing Link is to provide
counseling and other services to incarcerated adults and juveniles to help
them become productive citizens; to minister to the needs of families who
have a member in prison; to provide encouragement and guidance to persons
recently released from prison; to use the experience gained in such work to
help guide young people from paths that lead to prison; to carry forward all
of such services in the spirit of the Christian religion; and to do such
other things as are appropriate in connection with the foregoing. The
Missing Link is located in Cleveland, Ohio.

I encourage you to check out the resources offered by
these fine Christian folk.
